Cancellation Policy

As a courtesy, and to ensure that all clients are treated fairly and are able to receive services in a timely manner, at least 24-hours advanced notice is required if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment.

To change or cancel an existing appointment, please do so via the links provided in your appointment confirmation email or contact erica@newmanhealingarts.com.

If you do not show to your appointment, you will forfeit the service fee paid and a new payment will be necessary to reschedule.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Your coach will discuss what can be accomplished in the remaining time available. Regardless of the length of the service actually utilized, you will be responsible for the “full” scheduled session.

Refunds

You may request a refund of a prepaid service with 24 hours advanced notice of cancellation. Refunds are not available for services provided, no-shows, or late cancellations. All refunds are payable to the original form of payment.

Video Conferencing and Being Prepared

Core Transformation and Soul Coaching sessions are conducted via Zoom. You will need to be sure that the technological requirements are met before your scheduled session. You are advised to be prepared with a stable surface for your equipment so you can be hands-free. Please also try to be situated in a quiet environment where you can be comfortable and undisturbed for the duration of your session.

Session Recordings

Session recordings are available free of charge, but must be requested before the session begins. A link to the recording file will be made available for you to download and should be saved to your own device. The file will be deleted and unrecoverable as soon as two weeks after your session. Recordings are not guaranteed to be available and free of defects as such things are out of the control of your coach.

Email Communication

Email addresses are used for appointment confirmations and reminders. In addition, new clients will also automatically be added to our subscribed contact list where we welcome you to receive periodic updates and offerings via email. You are welcome to unsubscribe at any time if these communications are not for you. Your personal information will never be shared with anyone.

Disclaimer

I understand that Core Transformation, Soul Coaching, or oracle cards with Erica Newman is not therapy, results may vary, and are not guaranteed. I understand that as a coach, Erica is a partner and guide for my process of self-discovery, transformation, and personal evolution. Erica does not diagnose or treat any disease. I understand that I will get the most out of coaching by being an active participant, and that I set the direction and goals for coaching. I understand that Erica will respect the confidentiality of my information, except as authorized by me, or as required by law.

Nitty-Gritty Details of the Coach-Client Relationship

Coach agrees to maintain the ethics and standards of behavior established by the International Coach Federation “(ICF)” (Coachfederation.org/ethics).

Client is solely responsible for creating and implementing his/her own physical, mental and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions and results arising out of or resulting from the coaching relationship and his/her coaching calls and interactions with the Coach. As such, the Client agrees that the Coach is not and will not be liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any services provided by the Coach.

Client acknowledges that coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve different areas of his or her life, including work, finances, health, relationships, education and recreation. The Client agrees that deciding how to handle these issues, incorporate coaching principles into those areas and implementing choices is exclusively the Client’s responsibility.

Client acknowledges that coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association and that coaching is not to be used as a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, or other professional advice by legal, medical or other qualified professionals and that it is the Client’s exclusive responsibility to seek such independent professional guidance as needed. If Client is currently under the care of a mental health professional, it is recommended that the Client promptly inform the mental health care provider of the nature and extent of the coaching relationship agreed upon by the Client and the Coach.

Client agrees to not disregard medical advice or delay seeking medical advice because of information that is read in/on this material/website or received in coach-client communications. Do not start or stop any medications without speaking to your medical or mental health provider.

Client acknowledges that there are no guarantees about the results of the information applied from this website or within sessions. Educational and informational resources are shared that are intended to help the Client succeed in his/her stated areas of focus. The Client’s ultimate success or failure will be the result of his/her own efforts, particular situation, and innumerable other circumstances beyond the Coach’s knowledge and control.

Client further acknowledges that he/she may terminate or discontinue the coaching relationship at any time, but will be held liable to any payments due for services rendered.

Confidentiality

This coaching relationship, as well as all information (documented or verbal) that the Client shares with the Coach as part of this relationship, is bound by the principles of confidentiality set forth in the ICF Code of Ethics. However, please be aware that the Coach-Client relationship is not considered a legally confidential relationship (like the medical and legal professions) and thus communications are not subject to the protection of any legally recognized privilege. The Coach agrees not to disclose any information pertaining to the Client without the Client’s written consent. The Coach will not disclose the Client’s name as a reference without the Client’s consent.

Confidential Information does not include information that: (a) was in the Coach’s possession prior to its being furnished by the Client; (b) is generally known to the public or in the Client’s industry; (c) is obtained by the Coach from a third party, without breach of any obligation to the Client; (d) is independently developed by the Coach without use of or reference to the Client’s confidential information; or (e) the Coach is required by statute, lawfully issued subpoena, or by court order to disclose; (f ) is disclosed to the Coach and as a result of such disclosure the Coach reasonably believes there to be an imminent or likely risk of danger or harm to the Client or others; and (g) involves illegal activity. The Client also acknowledges his or her continuing obligation to raise any confidentiality questions or concerns with the Coach in a timely manner.
